Brad graduated from Baylor University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Business Administration and from the University of Dallas in 1991 with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Management.
Brad started doing genealogy as a hobby around 1991 and traced out several of his family branches into the first millennium.
Prior to the work Brad presently does; Brad performed product management, marketing and sales for software development companies and international telecommunication equipment manufacturers.
In 2003, Brad started working as a private investigator, forensic genealogist and heirship researcher in Dallas, Texas. While in Dallas, he was an active member of the North Texas Private Investigators Association (NTPIA) and Texas Association of Licensed Investigators (TALI).
In 2005, Brad became a Texas Supreme Court Certified process server based on numerous requests by attorney clients. Around that time, Brad also worked on small landman projects in and around Fort Worth, Texas (Tarrant County), supporting the Barnett Shale natural gas play.
After moving to San Antonio in 2006, Brad continued to perform the same services as he had in Dallas, Texas. He eventually became the Deputy Director of the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators (TALI) San Antonio Chapter, a position which he held from 2008 to 2011.
In 2009, while Brad continued to run the predecessor company to Crockett Global Group, he became the licensed manager of ProVest, LLC’s office located in Garland, Texas. At the time ProVest, LLC had one of largest private investigations operations within Texas with around 40 full time licensed private investigators working at their Garland, Texas facility.
In 2011, Brad became highly involved in the oil and gas industry as an Independent Landman. He has since worked in Arkansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and all throughout Texas. He has also worked remotely on oil and gas projects in Montana and North Dakota. His landman work has primarily focused on forensic genealogy and heirship research, but he has also been heavily involved in title research, lease negotiations, title curative, due diligence and special projects.
